The Sussex Fish & Game Association is a non‑profit club based in Sussex, New Brunswick, dedicated to the protection and wise use of wildlife and habitat in our region. We promote safe, responsible hunting, angling, and shooting sports, and support conservation and outdoor education for all ages.
Our members include hunters, anglers, recreational shooters, trappers, and outdoor enthusiasts who share a common interest in healthy forests, rivers, and wildlife populations. Through events, projects, and advocacy, the association works with local partners to improve habitat, maintain public access, and pass on outdoor skills to the next generation.
Mission and values
Our mission is to promote the conservation and wise use of fish, wildlife, and their habitats in the Sussex area and beyond. We work to encourage safe participation in outdoor pursuits, including hunting, fishing, and shooting sports, and to foster respect for the environment and for other users of the outdoors.
Core values include safety, conservation, education, and community service. We believe in working with landowners, government agencies, and partner organizations to improve habitat, protect access, and ensure that future generations can enjoy healthy fish and game populations.
Membership
Membership in the Sussex Fish & Game Association is open to anyone who supports our objectives and is willing to follow our safety and conservation policies. Members gain access to the shooting range (subject to rules and certifications), receive updates on events and meetings, and help support local conservation and education projects.
New and renewing members are asked to complete the current membership application and waiver, attend an orientation or safety briefing when required, and keep contact information up to date so that range and event notices can be delivered promptly.
